Accessibility Statement

Our target
Absolve Ventures LLC, trading as Absolve Marketing (“Absolve”, “we”, “us”), builds and maintains absolve.pro to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the standard referenced by the ADA and most state and federal accessibility guidance. We treat that as an ongoing target we work toward, not a one-time checkbox — and we are not claiming full conformance below. We would rather tell you plainly what is done and what is not than post a blanket compliance claim we cannot back up.
What is in place today
Skip link. Every page opens with a “Skip to content” link that jumps a keyboard user past the header straight to the main content.
Semantic landmarks. Every page uses real <header>, <nav>, <main> and <footer> elements, and the primary navigation is labelled for assistive technology.
Heading structure. Pages run a single <h1> down through <h2>/<h3> in order, so a screen reader user can navigate by heading.
Image text alternatives. Every image on the site carries an alt attribute — a written description where the image carries meaning, and an empty alt="" where it is purely decorative (the logo mark beside the wordmark, for example) so screen readers skip it.
Keyboard operability. The site has no elements that only work with a mouse. The mobile menu button, all links and the booking flow are reachable and operable by keyboard, and focused elements show a visible outline (:focus-visible) rather than relying on colour alone.
Reduced motion. The one authored scroll animation on the homepage is switched off entirely for visitors whose system has “reduce motion” set, via prefers-reduced-motion.
Colour contrast. Body text and link colours were checked against the WCAG AA 4.5:1 minimum for normal text when the palette was built, and the one brand colour that does not clear it on its own (a decorative ochre) is never used for body copy — only a darker, text-safe variant is.
Self-hosted fonts, no forms. Fonts are served from our own domain rather than a third party that could track visitors, and the site has no native form fields of its own to mislabel — the only way to reach us is a phone link, an email link, and the Calendly booking widget described below.
What is not done yet
We have not commissioned an independent, third-party accessibility audit of this site, and we do not run automated accessibility testing in our deploy pipeline yet. Both are on our list. We also have not done a full manual pass with a screen reader across every page, only spot checks. If a real barrier exists that we have not caught, the section below is how to tell us.
Third-party content
The booking calendar on this site is a widget embedded from Calendly, a separate company. Its accessibility is controlled by Calendly, not us. If it gives you trouble, the phone number and email address on this page reach us directly and work as a substitute.
No overlay widget
This site does not use an accessibility overlay, widget or plugin (the kind of script that claims to auto-fix accessibility by adjusting a page after it loads). Overlays sit on top of the existing markup instead of fixing it, they can conflict with the assistive technology a visitor already uses, and a company was fined by the FTC in 2025 for selling one while claiming it made sites “fully compliant.” We would rather fix the underlying HTML and be honest about what is left to do.
Reporting a barrier
If you use assistive technology and hit a barrier anywhere on this site, tell us and we will look at it. Email daniel@absolve.pro or call (469) 346-0056, describe the page and what happened, and we will respond within five business days.
